March meeting minutes and April meeting reminder

On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, the TMQG hosted Elizabeth Morgan, of Village Fabrics, to demonstrate rug hooking.  She is a very prolific and talented artisan and is qualified to instruct several patterns.  She is knowledgeable in wool dying in addition to the techniques necessary to make the rugs.  She brought in several examples of her work.

Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your talents with us!

Our next meeting is next Tuesday, April, 23.  First of all, please remember Senior Services when you are out shopping this weekend.  This month we are gathering shampoo and conditioner for our neighbors, including the "dry" or spray shampoo.

If you are participating in the Mug Rug swap with the Central Ohio MQG, please bring your completed mug rug to the April meeting.  Just the rugs, please; no extra goodies.

For the April meeting will have a technique round-table.  Our members will demonstrate portable projects that can be taken in a vehicle to your favorite vacation destination.

On Tuesday, May 28, we will be hosting Kim Lapacek, of Persimon Dreams.  The meeting will have a $5 door charge to help cover her travel costs.  On Wednesday morning (May 29),  Kim will do her Dresden Neighborhood workshop.  The cost of the workshop is $55 for members and $65 for non-members.  Here is a link to sign up,
