Reminder that the October meeting is next week

Next week is the October meeting and the guild will begin collecting membership dues for the 2016 year. Membership dues are $25.

We will also be holding elections for board positions. If you are interested in a board position please let one of the current board members know so that you can be placed on the ballet.

The meeting will be a holiday show and tell for handmade gift ideas. Everyone is asked to bring an item to share and tutorials are welcome. A list will be compiled and placed on the blog following the meeting for reference.

Our fat Quarter Lottery color is green you can bring as many as you want.

November will be the holiday party and gift exchange. no signups for the gift exchange but a list will be passed around to indicate if you wish to bring a sweet or salty snack to the holiday party. Paper goods will be provided by the guild.

Senior services asks for additional help in November with personal care items and non perishable foods -- this year they are also adding pet food and care items to the list of needs. This is a great time to bring in those charity quilts and really make a difference in the life of a senior in our community.
