Quilts on exhibit

Need some eye candy and inspiration? We have quilts being exhibited nearby!

The Delta Arts Center is hosting
 "Samplers & Symmetry IV: Pieces by Area African-American Quilters" 
which runs until March 16, 2013. This biennial exhibition includes over a dozen quilts from local quilters, many of which are for sale.

The gallery is at 2611 New Walkertown Road, in Winston-Salem. (336-722-2625) 
Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 5pm. Saturday: 11am - 3pm.
Gallery will be closed to the public on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

A bit farther away, the Charlotte Quilters' Guild is hosting a show:
"Through the Garden Gate"
is coming up Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, 2013
 at the Metrolina Tradeshow Expo.

Raleigh Convention Center.

  1. So excited about both of these events. Looking to carpool if anyone if going to Charlotte. I'm going to be at the sew in on Sunday at Sewingly Yours so just let me know. I am planning to attend the Raleigh expo as well but have not decided on how many days at this time -- not knowing what classes are being offered.
