Claudia Martinez from Snuggly Monkey will be giving our
August program.
On Tuesday, August 27th, Claudia will be talking about how to
incorporate needlework—embroidery, cross stitch and Sachiko—into quilts and
other handmade items. We’ll have the opportunity to see a trunk show of
Claudia’s exquisite handwork. Claudia will also be bringing a pop-up shop to
both her lecture on Tuesday and Wednesday, which is an excellent opportunit to
stop up on handwork supplies while shopping NC local! You can link to her shop
through her website (https://www.snugglymonkey.com).
On Wednesday, August 28th from 9:30-1 at South Fork Community Center, Claudia will give her

stitch and then finish an embroidery sampler project. Claudia will provide kits
for two different projects—the Dropcloth Samplers Color Wheel or the Cozy Blue
