October TMQG Zoom meeting

 Hi All,

I sent invitations for our October Zoom meeting to all TMQG members and to guests who asked to attend the meeting.  You should have received them the evening of Monday Oct 26th. If you did not receive an email with a Zoom meeting invite, please email me and I will resend the invitation to you.  

The meeting will feature our very own Ann Monroe and Bethany Sharpton who will help us discover the wealth of information available on the Modern Quilt Guild website.

TMQG Zoom meeting on October 27, 2020

Greetings, All!

By being members of the TMQG, we are all members of the Modern Quilt Guild.  We know that this membership gives us early access to QuiltCon registration and classes.  But do we get the best value from other MQG resources?

Please join us for the next meeting of the Triad MQG.  We will feature our very own Ann Monroe and Bethany Sharpton.  They will be showing us the many features of the MQG website. There are patterns to explore and webinars to attend and so much more!

Be aware, we will be starting our annual membership drive, so be ready for a hard sell!    ;o)  Annual dues are $40

Triad MQG September Guest is Latifah Saafir

On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, the Triad Modern Quilt Guild will be hosting Latifah Saafir via Zoom.  Latifah designs patterns and fabric, with many curved designs.  She also has a line of patterns for bags and pillows designed for new sewists.  She calls them “Quilt Cadets” and has even designed badges for sewing accomplishments.  (I want badges, too!) Latifah will be discussing “Being True to Your Inner Artist” and will provide a bias tape demonstration.  We will also have a Show and Tell for attendees.  Please send photos of your work to triadmqg@gmail.com by 5pm on Monday, September 21.  

The lecture is free for members and $10 for non-members.  Non-members, please register via PayPal (below).  Members, please send an email to Roseanne Morgan at flyergrad79@gmail.com in order to receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting. Our Zoom meetings are by invitation only to help provide a secure web environment.

Our October meeting will feature Ann Monroe and Bethany Sharpton who will guide us through all the features of the Modern Quilt Guild website.  Check it out in order to get the maximum value from your dues!

In November, we will hold our annual Halloween/ Thanksgiving/ Harvest/ Christmas party.  More information will follow.
